I have just been sorting out the desktop humis, finished the cuban one was chuffed. Starts on the NC one, shock horror one of them is infested with a maggot and I assume beetles. The offending cigar is now cremated but what do I do now. Non of the others show any signs and there was one hole in the effected cigars celo wrapper.

expert advice needed please.

Bag the cigars take as much air out as possible then put in the freezer for 2 days then fridge for a day.

I'm sure there are other threads on here dealing with a beetle infestation. I think it's a case of put them in a freezer bag, suck out all the air and freeze them for 48 hours, then very slowly bring them back to room temperature.
That should kill any beetles, only way you'll know if anymore are around is when you smoke em and get that "special" taste.

Also, take all the other cigars, don't freeze them IMMEDIATEly, but tamp them lightly on some printer paper 5-10 times, foot first.
if there are black dots falling out of the foot, discard those cigars as well because it means beetles have infested those as well. no point in freezing cigars with the fcking bloodsuckers in them!

Also, before freezing the cigars, make absolutely sure that the bag you have is airtight. shrink (saran)wrap is normally good for that but what i do is Saran wrap it then get those freezer ziplock bags.
