I've always found that when in doubt ask to speak to the principal manager/owner
Clearly then, if one doesn’t like the service, price or assortment the best thing to do walk away There are plenty of good merchants who will be pleased to have the business

Clearly whoever it was knows nothing about the cigar business. It is one thing not to want to offer a discount (their choice), it is another to suggest it is illegal!Originally posted by Simon BolivarLittle medical correction there Steve, you will surely die...but not from smoking these

Don't follow this arguement. That's like saying your football team is sponsered by Waitrose but you shop at Lidyl, as it's the cheapest. Even though everything you want to buy at Waitrose, when you take your basket to the checkout & say this is the price at Lidyl & they give it to you at that price, you'd rather shop at Lidyl in he first place, because they are cheaper but don't sponser ie support your club????Simon Bolivar: Liberator of Bolivia, Ecuador, Peru & Venezuela.

Eh? Hardly Simon, every Cigar retailer supports our "club" as much as the next.... Mitch just wants our money as does Simon at mysmokingshop as does JJ Fox as does Sautters.... Etc.
They all have reputations of good service so go with the cheapest... It's a no Brainer!
Lidl are great too, and yes if we are talking product for product as we are in the cigar world... If Lidl had the exact same brand product for cheaper than Waitrose then of course Lidl deserve the custom.... Another no Brainer!
P.S sponsor is just a company that pays for advertising, they don't get an automatic guarantee that were always going to spend money there, retail is too competitive for that...Licky Licky before Sticky Sticky. - Puff Scotty 22/03/14
