A guy at work had been saying that his father has had to give up smoking cigars so he was given the small remains of the collection. He knows I like them so he brought an unopened 25 box of San Luis Rey Double Coronas saying that they were Cubans from the 80's his father never got round to opening.
Suffice to say I'm not stupid enough to fall for such a dodgy named fake, I know enough to spot that it should be "Saint Luis Rey", I almost took a punt at the ?125 he wanted but I'm low on storage and don't want to run a punt on fakes, so he sold them to one of the wagon drivers who's treated himself... I'm sure they will probably be better than the hamlets he normally smokes.

can I seriously suggest you ask your friend if you can take a look at what is left, cigars from the 80s/90s era may contain a few gems!
