i really dont get the 1p saving, i am sure in the bars in blackpool they all charge different prices for the same drink anyway?

2% above inflation I belive.

To put this in perspective duty was about ?2.50 before the budget and is now ?2.60 for a robusto.

How this ?2.50 tax translates into an ?8 difference in the cost between a Spanish coro and an EMS coro is an interesting question though.
