Partagas SD4

So... I've tried, I really tried to like these but I just don't get it. Am I missing something, as all I get is salt and pepper

I really liked the one I had, so much so that when I have free cash again I would like a box. Perhaps they just don't suit your taste?

I think at least a couple of people on here don't get on with Partys in general

The first D4 I had was okay but not brilliant, then last weekend I had one Jeremy sent me a couple of month ago and I thought it was a fantastic smoke, I'll try one of two more but based on that one it is definitely a contender for the next box buy

I've only had a short and a mini Partagas but didn't enjoy them.

I'm not really a fan of the short either but really like the cuelebras but maybe that's because of the presentation more than anything lol

The first one I had was really really crap! Didn't have great flavours, smoke was limited and it kept going out.

Second was good and I enjoyed it, but probably not enough to buy a box of them

The first SD4 I had was terrible. So much so that I didn't pick another one up for about 7 years. Possibly you got a bad one? Give it some time and check back in on them at a later date. Your opinion might change.

Yep...maybe I need to try a few more....but the flavours did nothing for me.

IMHO. SD4's are certainly one of the best alround robusto's, but must have at least 4-5 years on them. Seem slower to mature than many other robusto's.

I have a had a couple of d4's and enjoyed them i think they are one of my favourite CC's

they seem to be one of the more inconsistent cigars (they are also one of the most popular so hence the reason) I loved my 08s now sadly finished my 2010 are junk but my 2012 show real promise
