Also got the box of old gold labels
Thinking of using these for the after dinner smoke

Hard to tell because of the glare on the cellophane.

A bit beyond my realm of knowledge except for what Sean said about the opus and the CAO! The other names I recognise are Don Ramos and Torano, both brands I have had decent sticks from.

It certainly looks like a bunch that could be fun to explore!

The padron and the opus x are the better smokes from what I can see.

From what I've heard, age doesn't do much for NCs, which are produced to be smoked right away. May be wrong though.

Yes. You are wrong. SOME NCs do not benefit from aging. Most do. Don't know how this myth came to be perpetuated.

                        No need to thank me...

Don't know much about the "myth"... or science books, for that matter, but based on my own experience and that of the Coro Clan, NCs just don't seem to benefit from aging nearly as much as Cs do. On the other hand, as someone mentioned, NCs are ready to smoke right out of the box while most Cs need to be aged a bit before enjoyed.

Now, this ain't to say I haven't enjoyed a NC that benefited from age --- I have. But that was the exception, not the rule. Most well-aged NCs I've enjoyed over the years were the same as the day they were purchased.

                              But that's just me.
