If you can get away with smoking a whole cigar with just water, then I am sure you'll got something out of it that may be masked with other drinks but once you have made your tasting notes on a couple of sticks then try with a coffee (Cuban of course) & for another stick your fav beer, then rum/whisky/whiskey ect. You'll find some drinks bring out & highlight more flavs than you'll find on water alone; as well of course increase the pleasurable sensation of combining cigar & drink together.

yeah I agree. The reason why I drink water is when I first smoke a cigar, I can get the hang of the main note. So next time when I come across it I know I can drink for example coffee to bring out or enhance the coffee flavor in that cigar. But anyway, thanks for the advice.
