I think its more a case of not having had the opportunity rather than missing it as a few people checked out the site. I will definitely be visiting next Monday with Mark.

Hey Monty - I missed your post as well - but then I couldn't even find my password to login. Many thanks for the kind words

i am on my way back from a 'pre dinner' event at the shop tonight - private events are popular here. So don't forget I am very happy to host a UKCF get together one evening - probably a Monday to Wednesday as Thursday is our regular late night (to 9pm)
I'm sure there are greater things in life than a fine cigar ........... but right now I can't think what they might be.

That would be absolutely first class.

I hope that the launch event next week goes well.
Will it be open over a weekend (Saturday/Sunday)?
It will be nice to visit the sampling room and hopefully get advice as a beginner on smoking quality cigars and learn more about cigars.
                    Best wishes, Marc

Our official launch is next week - it features a Mixologist who is pairing groovy cocktails to a selection of cigars. If that works as a concept we will use it at future events.

Handlebar pipe - we open on Saturday but not Sunday. Our late night is Thursday until 9pm But if there is a demand we will look at doing that each night. In the sampling Room you get to speak to very knowledgable and enthusiastic customers (and staff).

The Master Blenders Room is really about information - Tobacco Wheel - cakes / slabs of tobacco - whole leaves and much more. It covers all forms of tobacco and is a very unique experience.

Thanks for the information. Looking forward to calling in and sampling a recommended cigar when I get an opportunity.
                        Regards, Marc

I am off into town this morning for wines of Spain tasting in the city so have arranged to meet an old friend of mine who is a manager at Fortnum & masons lucky enough this is a short walk from his work to 1a and the surrounding cigar venues
The better news is I have now cleared my diary for the rest of the day :-)
