Exactly! Sounds great, tommy_tucka I'll be sure to shout you if I'm down that way.

I echo those above that don't like smoking in the cold. As winter gets closer I think my evening smokes are done for, save for a proper COSA, most of which are in central London and therefore any visits require a bit of forward planning.

If it's a nice day I smoke in the garden, if the weather is against me I go to my man cave. I have my home brew keg an iPod with a portable speaker and have just bought a little gas heater now that the cold weather is here. If I go out for a few beers there is a pub with a well covered and heated beer garden that I like.
Common sense is not a gift, it's a punishment as you have to deal with everyone who doesn't have it!

tommy_tucka The NES had some very playable games, real classics. I've been clearing out my parents loft in preparation to help them move house and came across a box with my old NES and a lot of games and periperals. Haven't tested it yet but If I can't get it working then I'll send you a list of games to see if you want anything (unless any of them are worth a small fortune on ebay, of course )

Yea mate that would be awesome. I have doubles of some games as back up just in case one goes. I'm on the look out for a SNES and a mega drive. I have a soft spot for retro gaming.

I normally smoke in the garage back home but luckily this NATO base in Afghanistan has a massive cigar club so we have a two story patio at our disposal as well as an enclosed garden. We always smoke with different people from different countries everyday

Usually relaxing reading or listening to some music on my very modest boat or with like minded friends.

If you can't get it working then let me know as I have a friend who knows about retro consoles and he said he would be able to fix most faults on a nes console.

Cheers Tommy. There were 2 NES consoles, to my surprise. I'm hoping at least one of them works. Meant to take a picture of the games to post up but completely failed to do so. Going back in a week or 2 to do more clearing and sorting so will do it then.
