Hi Agricola, Impressed with your choice sir! It's easy to forget in this day & age of ever expanding ring gauge & length that PC's are were most of us started off & a hundred yrs ago TPC were far more popular, see old antique holders ect. The ERDMCS is a great pleasure & although I wouldn't find it suitalbe for an after dinner smoke (except perhaps after a dish of freshly caught trout), it'll cover mornings, lunch & mid afternoon with no problem. See if you can find a well aged single or two to try, think you'll be suitably impressed.

Enjoyed a few punch tres petit coronas 1998 this year. 2nd place would be a RASS I had over Christmas.

Well for me its a close call between my old favorite the SigloIII and a recent discovery, the Choix Supreme, and based on the last one I smoked, where the flavors just flutterd along, my vote is for the Choix Supreme, it was a delightful almost delicate smoke.

When I undertook to do this little did I expect such a varied and diverse selection of nominations. Three cigars garnered two votes each and I had to go back through the votes looking for second choices which I counted a half vote. Having said that its been fun and I hope to do it again at the end of this year.

So the UKCF Cigar of the Year 2013 by a whisker (cue drumroll) is..........

The Montecristo Number 2, coincidentally the same as Cigar Afficianado

In equal second place was the Bolivar Gold Medal and the El Rey del Mundo Choix Supreme

Brand of the year was also Montecristo.

There you have it, enjoy those smokes and remember what rocks your boat for next time.
