Xmas eve with mini monkey in bed I am eyeing up '98 lusi and/or a '98 POW. Both are stellar ...washed down with some 27 year old Port Ellen.

How was the Port Ellen monks? Cheapest over here is around $400 for the simple bottle and am seeing if itd be worth it just to say i tried it. Aaaaah, if only i was of drinking age back in '07

This bottle of Port Ellen is one of the nicest malts I have ever drunk. Bottled in 2006.

I tried a few Port Ellen drams when in Islay earlier this year, very nice they were but crazy expensive. My favourite one was a 24 year old.

usual smoke is a Monte # 4 after eating the half eaten mince pie and the glass of malt left by Santa on my walk around to my brothers house

I have picked up quite a few singles over the last year and they have been peacefully resting in the humi. Looking at a variety of smokes over the break - many of them for the first time for me. I have a fundadores, an Upmann 50, a Behike and a padron that are on the hit list. Cant wait to try the fundadores - heard so much about them but wanted to have it when i could savour it

got quite a few h&f aged to choose from boli immensas,upmann coronas,VR unicos,Panza molinos or a punch d'oro no1 2008,so will be a few or all of them if the weather shapes up :-)
