    I feel dirty

    So I just added a new range of stock to the humidor (well, igloo coldbox) - bit of a squeeze to fit it all in but got there in the end. I'd just reboxed the cigars I'd frozen and then played jenga with the boxes, refilled the beads but then I thought I would just check the condition of the rest of the stash. Opening each box, pulling them out - checking for condition and then savouring the aroma of each one.

    What should have taken 10 minutes to check took me over an hour - chocolate, wood, spice, earth?and now i feel dirty - is there such a thing as a cigar sniffing fetish?

    Not at all mate i often take mine out of the humidor and have a little taste of the wrapper see if theres any change to them

          Thank god for that, I'm not alone! My wife however says they all smell like dung to her unlit and can't get excited about the smell of Spanish cedar either. Good job I love her.

            Sniffing cigars is my new favourite hobby lol The smell of my first ever cigar a few weeks back literally blew me away

              Nice pencil case!

              By the way, it's how I started. Bought some back from Cuba and couldn't keep from smelling and touching them constantly, which led to smoking them more and more. Damn love the smell of them!

                Sniff away and enjoy ! Unfortunately when smoking you lose a lot of the aromas which those around can enjoy. Damn next time I go down the local I may charge for that privelige .

                  Absolutely love the smell

                  The wife has a super sensitive nose though, if I open my humi in the lounge she can walk in an hour later and straight away comment "Urghhh you've been looking at your stash again".
