and i have to respond to it mentioning my backing on the Irish Whiskeys. Midleton used to be my favourite whiskey of ALL time. Then i had the Cragganmore 21. Then i had the Dalmore 22. Then i had the Wild Turkey 12... And so on and so forth.

Anyways, don't forget Canadian Rye! 40 Creek anyone??
I have no bias.... I PROMISE!! (no eyes to my signature please )

I haven't tried it either I'll be honest. I'm a little hesitant due to price lol dont want to buy it if its not good. 2 months doesn't seen so bad if you only smoke occasionally like me. I may buy a pack as an experiment but I will continue to use Liverpool, have you ordered from their website?

Honey Jack's alright! It is sweet, you would want it straight on the rocks but it's not a bad finisher to a night.

There are much better North American whiskys than Jack at a similar prices. Buffalo trace is an easily available one.

If you want a honey whisky drink..... Put the honey in yourself, that way you can have as much or as little as you want.

Makers mark, buffalo trace, Woodford reserve, Bulleit, wild turkey, Elijah Craig and knob creek are all much better examples of US whisky than Jack Daniels and Jib Beam IMHO especially given the current price of Jack 'n' Jim.

I think its a shame that the two big players have the market so locked up that many consumers will never try anything beyond them. That's not to say that Jack and Jim don't have a place, but realistically they are worth ?14-?16 a bottle and are very useful in a cocktail makers arsenal.
