Well its the morning after the smoke and my throat feels like ive been gargling glass. I think I'll avoid that particular cigar from now on. I'm looking forward to trying my Olivia serie G next

You cruel bastard Dean .... Fonseca Cadet to PSD4 or Monte Tubos .... talk about throwing him in at the deep end .... I'm surprised you didn't recommend a Boli PC!

Still, he's going to do himself a mischief with at Olivia V anyway!

True, but it'll give him some flavour! Boli's might put him off forever!

So for the newbies, what's with the Olivias then? A bit of a walk on the wild side?

Strong smokes, might put you on your backside but just have a sugary drink to hand.

Yea, Lou reed's death hurts us all.

but, Olivia s aren't as strong as NCs can get. So should be fine for you

Just a thought, was it a Cedros R&J? I have found that can be quite harsh on the throat.

Sean, could be fine. I have only had a few of the cedros as the first few I had put me right off but they were brought out of a tabac in Spain n hols & smoked straight away so they were probably rather green. I guess if you have other sticks to keep you going, smoke this one last & see what you think. I wasn't keen of the cedar flav either, seemed OTT but someone must like them, they keep selling.

I have smoked much more NC's and the good ones are as good as any of the limited amount of Cubans I have had.
That's not to say there are not batter Cubans because my experience is limited.

The Fonseca I had was very good though!
