I expected the new sensor to be more accurate given it's ?30 just for the sensor chip (capacitive type) and it factors in temp so you get Relative Humidity. But yeh, didn't expect the one in the humidifier to be so far out - might take it apart to see what chip it uses.

Gotta love male logic! Must find out what makes it work!!!!! My father is the same he can generally strip down and rebuild something and there will only be two or three screws leftover! ....'Spares'
