Morning all,
Crap golfer and fairly novice cigar smoker but just wanted to see what your opinions on good cigars to go with a game of golf are?
Unfortunately with work, the Mrs' rules at home an also the ban, one of the few regular chances I get to enjoy a Cuban is playing golf. This often means I'm taking my more expensive smokes out just to get a chance to sample them.
But, and I'm inclined to agree, when you're out on the course, with the wind and walking and all the rest, you perhaps don't get chance to full enjoy some of the subtle flavours of say a Sig 4 and I almost feel like its wasting an expensive stick, not to mention the burn being completely buggered! (Although the best cigar I've ever smoked was an Espl?ndidos out on the course)
Just wondered what other people have enjoyed when out an about, don't want to "waste" top of the range gear so to speak...
I understand the Monte Open line was made pretty much for this exact reason, they've had mixed press, what do you lot think?
Cheers
