Theres more non-Cuban brands available in the uk than people might think including Davidoff, Ashton, Rocky Patel, Fuente, Padron, Joya de Nic, Oliva, La Aurora etc etc to name but a few.

American Brand might be the wrong term..I see a lot of Cigars online, youtube etc that I would like to try - Foundry Wells, Ghurka, som e of the other Alec Bradleys etc

There doesnt appear to be a UK supplier, is buying from the US the only option?

                  Thanks

I'm always getting told off 'cos of you guys ..I was under the impression the thread was about American Brands in the UK...that's why the short answer..
The 1898 range is actually pretty damn good for those that like complex flavours in a cigar..I think they were likened, in one review, to a Reyes..I've not found that particular comparison but they have plenty of grass/cedar/pepper/honey & all sorts to get your buds searching..
I'm fortunate enough to count Tirso Ripoll as a BOTL & these all come from his family's factory..but, all in all, well worth the price..in Manila...

Threads do have a habit of morphing..which IMO, isn't a bad thing!
Have a look at the Flor de Filipinas website & let me know what you'd like to try & I'll see what I can do....

Just smoked the 1898 Robusto, very good! I will probably try a couple other sizes just to be sure which box of 25 I want, the others will have to be good for me not to buy the Robusto's.
