A little bit of feedback.
I've been advised by the vendor that this happens when the temperature inside the humidor is high.
I checked the temp yesterday after work and the humi is running around 68-73F (20-23?C) temp wise.
The vendor advised the temp stay below 70F (21?C).
The problem is, I have no where in the house that is 'cool' or that remains 'cool' constantly.
Windows are closed all day whilst at work etc. I've started to leave blinds closed to reduce
the amount of sunlight & warmth that enters the house.

Could be wrong but that sounds like total bs to me? In Cuba the temperature is normally more than 70F. Is the vendor really saying a top end cigar is sensitive (and can suffer total failure) with a 3deg F swing in temp, sorry but they are wrong. The only think the vendor should be doing is sending you a new cigar.
The only reason for lower storage temp is to do with avoiding tobacco beetles hatching. Never heard anything to do with wrappers cracking.

Agree here too, the only way such a high temp may contribute to a split is if it is part of a fast wild fluctuation in temperature causing the cigar to swell quickly.
Irrespective of the humidor temperature, imagine what the core of a burning cigar is! I've had some great smokes after leaving a tubo in the glove compartment of a very warm car. I'd go with BS too.
