  • When, What, Where to smoke a cigar.

    Hello folks.

I thought would be good to ask this question because myself i've never spoke to anyone who smokes cigars because i dont know anyone who does Just a lone wolf and retailers is 90% time online so no real interaction with anyone in this area.

So was wondering what do you do when having a cigar, when to have one, where do you particularly like to smoke one?

Myself i mainly watch movie, read topics or go back online to find my next purchase :P and i thinks i might buy this http://www.jjfox.co.uk/p83782/Flor-D...0&startpoint=0 (Nice and cheap :P )
But in most cases ill just listen to music.

Tend to have mine with a Belhaven creamy beer, whisky or my favorite coffee.

I tend to smoke one in the evening at night after a meal just goes down nicely then, a nice little desert.

Usually have mine in the house just because well weather is bollocks in UK

    What do you do?

But in all seriousness, i have a rule (which will stick) to NOT to smoke in my house. The house value plumets with a smoker (even a cigar or pipe smoker) so i found that I'll be cheaper in the long run to buy a shed with a heater and smoke in there. That. Or just a public park, restaurant patio, etc outside on the go.

As for past time activities, just sit with mates with a tipple of scotch. Like you said, after a meal sometimes. If I'm with myself (never happens), i just think. Sometimes with music, other times in a park admiring the greenery

I normally only smoke in the garden and at weekends, I always try to get everything needed doing done before retreating for a hour or so to have a well deserved smoke - I always enjoy it much more when I don't have to squeeze it in and feel like I earned it!

I don't smoke indoors unless my wife is away for the night - she hates the smell! Although we have agreed when we can eventually get a house I will be allowed a den to enjoy cigars 😀

As a newbie while smoking I try to read about the cigar, particularly the flavours and other peoples' experiences of it. I really don't drink very much alcohol so normally only drink tea, coffee or water with them (boring I know!)

I usually smoke at the weekends and in front of the sea (if the weather is good) alone... the best plan for enjoying a cigar

I mainly smoke at the weekends....if the Mrs is out I may have one indoors...but kind of leaning out our julien balcony (hardly a balcony)

I do have a mini cigar most days just before I start work.

If I can I like a drop of rum...just finished a bottle of captain morgan's spiced.

Or today I had a nice lavazza coffee with baileys in while smoking.

I live on a new build estate...so sometimes I just wonder round it slowly having a cigar and maybe sit in the playground (if there's no one there) as it has the only bench on the estate.

I like to listen to a bit of Dizzy Gillespie while smoking....especially the track sunny side of the street. Just works perfect for me.

Polo...I am jealous of you smoking by the sea...must be lovely!

Because I work shifts I am often off work when my wife is at work so I tend to kick back and enjoy a cigar then.
With you on the jazz but I prefer Etta James or Diana Krall
I usually have mine with a soft drink (not diet) because I am almost teetotal and got my arse kicked by a gorgeous Flor d'Antilles a month or so ago that I had with an unsweetened cup of tea. Got to keep up the sugar level to counteract the nicotine.
