Hey thanks for your reply, on the hoyo, the band colour is a pink, normally when I have bought these they have been more red then pink? And the Upmans seem that the floral detail have no space between the leafs tryna find out cause if they are there getting sent back!

It's usually difficult to spot fakes via photo, I would be very suspicious though because anywhere that sold the first one all the others will be fake too.

Ah fuck mate, with all these emots i don't want to crush your dreams :'(. But Partagas never had a limited edition in '11. Especially the D #2.
Methinks that's from a Cohiba 1996 as they probably have the same girth. Or it's just a fake band. But it looks pretty real to me, which is the sad part (might be the picture)

Sorry for that! If it's cuban tobacco, it should be nice and savoury for at least the first half!

-Monte's band looks awesome. never seen one of THAT width though, looks like i can hollow it out and replace the pipes under my bathroom with that..... Band is good, cigar i don't know
-Hoyo is definitely fake. Colours are off on the band. If a red flag comes up and turns out to be pink (like in this cigar ) it's definitely bad. That's only by the band though keep in mind that......
-H. Upmanns are not consistent. IF they came from the same box, both are fake. If they're from separate boxes, i'm not too sure. take more pictures of the left H. U. see what you can find
Remember those games of "spot the differences in the two pictures" when you were in grade school? Do that with the bands of the two h upmanns. you'll see that the very top of the band should have two bumps on them. The second cigar only has one thick gold band running across the top whilst the first cigar has two separate gold bands.

Anyways, that's just my opinion

Thanks everybody for your replies, butternutsquashpie we meet again haha thanks though! as you can see in the following picture i done a little comparison when i got home with some originals (from JJ Fox) and this was the outcome.... hopefully it will help in the future for anyone on the forum!

What was your source mate? Were these from a UK retailer or from someone who knows someone who's brother works in a Cuban cigar factory? Lol

I've got Upmanns with very different bands some with the embossing almost non-existent. Hard to tell from the pic but they might be ok?!? Is the cap ok?

They where from out of the UK, from Asia ha. They weren't in great condition and there where so many differences on all the bands when i had a close inspection, also the lengths of the cigars where slighty off
