Additionally, I don't want to really blanket unban as there's loads of old bans we'd remove too - but I'm happy to unban anyone who'd like to continue to contribute. I don't old grudges about silly squabbles, it's just the bloody t'internet.

Why would you think you would not hear an honest answer? For me I would say of course there has been a loss but that doesn't really change anything. If regrettably one feels a decision has to be made, then it has to be made. Some situations are loose/loose in life, deal with them and move on.
