R&J tubo 3 for guests to take away and the mag 50's for me and a select couple of friends.

funny, i've been to a few weddings in the last couple of years, where i was groom's man, and finding the time in the day to have a cigar proved problematic for me, and i wasn't getting married!! i learned my lesson, no big cigars!! for the 8-10 guys in the wedding party (groom, best man, groomsmen, ushers, father of groom and father in law), i brought cohiba exquisitos!! they went down a treat, less than 30 minutes!! the big guns were smoked the next day when everyone had time to reflect on the wedding!! that's what i stuck to ever since......

In the shop we normally say to get good cigars for those who you are 100% sure will smoke great cigars to the nub and then mille fleurs or similar so you're not left cringing when great cigars are smoked a third of the way by those who aren't too into cigars.

I would get Romeo y Julieta Short or Petit Churchills for those in the know and Coronitas en Cedro/ Romeo Tubo No.2's or Mille Fleurs for hand outs. Romeo y Julieta goes well with the love story thing too!

Why I suggested he look through the Davidoff Range Alex. Every size is covered from Churchills down to Cigarillos and the White branding and Tubos would be totally in keeping with a Wedding. SWIMBO would also be familiar with the brand name and that has to be a plus.

I agree with Tipp on this, apart from quite liking Davidoff they are mostly a mild, smooth smoke which should suit most people. Their Special Entreacto is a very small neat stick for a quick smoke.

Right, iv made up my mind now.

Its going to be a choice of Boliver royal coronas tubed OR RyJ short churchill tubos.

They both are the same size in everyway, both are tubed and look amazing.
I want them boxed up tho.
The Bolivar are boxed and tubed which looks amazing.
Can I get this with the RyJ? Boxed as 10's BUT in tubes? These would look alot better for the venue and like what someone else said 'its a love story'.

Or would I have to buy these in boxes of 3's...

From memory the Short Churchills come in pectas (cardboard) of 15 not dress boxes of ten.

Yes in a humidor, personally just put them in as they come but some will store them out of the tube or with their lids off.
