At ?22 I'm sure Mitch did recommend it but it is neither aged, rare or unusual as his site claims...the number of these still available should tell it's own story..but IMHO the Mag 48 is a far better proposition....

But time's running away Sam. Mitch is quick with the post, but Christmas might require miracles .... if I were looking to spend ?22+ with Mitch on something good .... this would appeal .... and get two.

These guys rate the LE Mag 50 as top 4 ever! - Won't be trusting them again. http://www.cigars-review.org/topcigars.htm
love the mag 48 but it just isn't big enough for sharing.Give me ambiguity or give me something else.

I'm thinking maybe a PSD4 or some NCs for my christmas smoke, but honestly, it will be one of my last nights in oz, puffing with my bro in law who is also one of my best mates, sipping on cool drinks. so no matter what we smoke, it will be awesome

I don't think you would be disappointed with it. For a memorable smoke my choice would be a nice large Cohiba with some age (5 years min), they smoke so much better than when new. A Siglo VI, Lanceros or Esplendido, if you prefer Maduro style then a Genios is very good.
Other smokes off the top of my head - Montecristo Sublime 2008 LE is a cracking smoke but getting harder to find. Partagas Series D Especiale, SPN2 or 8-9-8, San Cristobal Muralla or Mercaderes, Romeo y Julieta Escudos or Duke, H.Upmann Sir Winston.
You will get a million different recommendations though so go with your gut as they say.Exploring the world - one smoke at a time.

I've smoked several 2005 LE and thought them OK .... but, IMHO not near as good as the Mag 48. But it is only my opinion, there's loads of BOTL out there with more experience and better taste buds than me who would disagree I'm sure.If you want to, you can.
