  • Christmas Smokes suggestions

    Hello all!

A very valid question has been put to me by my brother in law. What are we smoking on Christmas Day?

    Any suggestions?

Will be at the in-laws and last year got my father in law a good quality patio heater as a Xmas pressie so time in the cold shouldn't be too much of an issue but ideally around an hours smoke or any longer and the women will have our heads lol

I will take a selection as depending on the little ones will depend on how much time we get.

Hmm....luckily me and the wife don't have any little ones and my brother in law has a 2 week old baby so shouldn't be an issue but may be worth taking some shorts. Any suggestions on specific sticks? Tend to go for hdm epi 2 or monte no 5. Would like to have completely new cigars for Xmas day.

Thinking something smallish and steady for the day. ERDM Choix Supreme maybe.

Then a Siglo VI in the evening.

I was thinking about this the other day, i'm going to get myself some magnum 48's and some kind of robusto. Nothing too fancy after a month of present buying!

Love the enthusiasm to have more than 1 stogie I've made a shortlist now

                  Shorts:
El rey del mundo choix de l'epoque
                  Hoyo short piramides
                  Monte PE

                  Long:
                  Monte open eagle
                  Cohiba Genios
                  Party D5
                  Upmann magnum 52

And maybe slip in a belicoso somewhere in for Xmas eve? Bolivar or open regatta?

What u guys think of the shortlist?

I don't care..there is nothing 'bad' in my humis so I'll make the choices as I go..probably dictated by how much food & drink I've consumed...which I hope is a lot...

I'll be starting witha 22yo ERDM DT with the bubbly, have a 80yo smoke for a bit later, a Boli RE Petit Robusto(?) for after dinner. Might fit one more in later, take a few & make a choice at the time. If we are smoking indoors (froiends aresmokers too) it'll be a dream.
