You're willing to buy 1 or 2 cigars, each no more than ?10.
Spend the ?20 as if you're buying 2 but buy 1 cigar: a Cohiba Robusto.
    Beam me up Scotty...

Remember he is new to cigars... it's better to start off with something like a Romeo no 2. so that he can appreciate better cigars in a few months.

I love these bad boys, not Cuban and not ?10, but still a tasty smoke,

Just trying to be a little open minded. I've tried cheaper cigars as a newbie - and not really taken to them.
I'm starting to realise that some of the cheaper smokes (IMO) are a bit of a waste of money...
But that's just my opinion! Please don't blast me for my opinions.
I agree the Cohiba Robusto is a stronger cigar, but I really enjoyed it as a newbie...

                        I'm new to the site.
Wrote a response to the original topic (which wasn't that far off the question).
You come down on me like a tonne of bricks.
And then I'm an idiot for defending my original response.

                          Easy boys.....eeeeeeaaaaasy!

This place is for discussing fine puros and the (ahem...) fine gentlemen who smoke 'em!

Now, If you two want to have a go, take it outside, por favor; otherwise, let's get back to the business of this thread!

                          Perro, el Perro

Right! I think the world would be a better place if we all could just get along.

I'm new to the site. ;And to cigars but not to forums obviously, try introducing yourself.
Didn't think I'd need to introduce myself. Apologies.

Wrote a response to the original topic (which wasn't that far off the question).
;Which you conveniently deleted & it was bad advice, miles away...
Wasn't bad advice, read OP "...all recommendations welcomed..." And I deleted it: not to offend you further

You come down on me like a tonne of bricks.
;Your first post would normally have been asking advice not giving it!
I have advice to share, hence my sharing. Not every first post has to be asking for advice.

And then I'm an idiot for defending my original response. :Why did you defend the indefensible, you were looking for an argument!
Was I? Wow... you are something

Flipping 'eck!..Now your a hard done by Newbie...

From what I understand Cohiba is not a Brand to start the Journey with, if you get a young one it is likely to put you off as some say that they need a good ageing, and from my limited experience you need to have developed a good appreciation of cigar flavours to enjoy them fully, i have only had 3 Cohiba robusto and have to say they are wasted on me.
