Peat doesn't contain oil anyway! Just spoke to my dad (petroleum geophysicist) and it only ever really contains gas or trace oil (in bogs) – stuff picked off the ground is free of both. Not that it is good for you anyway :P

Personally I do not have the inclination to put a small piece of peat in my cigars but don't forget cigars even on their own are full of hydrocarbons (PAH's)!

paraffin oil isn't OIL and it means 10 tonnes will keep a candle going for 5 mins :P
