      Sometimes could it not just be a state of mind when one is smoking 'em? I smoked a Mag 46 the other night and whilst pleasant was nothing amazing, however, the one i smoked before (not long ago) hit the spot amazingly, same batch!

      Interesting stuff about sick period though, i had my first ERD CS (boxed May 2012) and that would explain why it tasted the way it did or are they already aged prebox?

        Lee you make a very important point here. State of mind, pallet etc can have a huge influence on how we perceive a given cigar.

          Never would consider the freezing issue personally Tip. I think we would need to know a lot more about their exact process to firm an opinion. Of course they have only been freezing for a few years so it would have no influence on older stock.
