I would agree with most of Alex's suggestions, although my personal preference would be to substitute the Partagas Short with a Partagas Tres Petit and to substitute the Monte 5 with an RyJ Petit Princess.

I hear what you're saying about the RyJ Petit Julietas being possibly to short a smoke, but believe me as the nights get longer and colder you might be glad that it is. I like the Entractos size and others worth considering would certainly be the ERdM Demi Tasse and the RA Ramonitas. For something a little longer and stronger the Punch Margaritas fits the bill.

Samplers are useful and for under a tenner per stick I recently came across this one:-

Three of the smokes would fit your 'now' criteria, and two you could save for smoking indoors or for when the weather warms up a little.
If you want to, you can.
And, if you can, you must!

thank you all, got some great advice here and some sticks I never even considered its really widened my search and its really appreciated. I really like the look of senor robustos list I have been a bit off maduros since smoking a la rica maduro (god that was awful!!) maybe the cohiba will get my faith back in them. I also like the sampler tippexx says although they are all the same make it gives me a couple to put away for when I have time for a longer smoke, decisions decisions

I know that these are not cuban but they are a very good cigar and I have really enjoyed them.

give them a go I am sure you will not be disappointed.

Just as a point of clarity, the question was for Petit Corona size cigars, those mentioned are Tres Petit Coronas, perhaps due to UK pricing that's all you get for a tenner?
