  • Potential cigar problem?

    Hey guys,

Just received 25 Romeo y Julieta Sports Largos after their extended stay at customs.

I've been inspecting them, and two came to my attention:

The first two pictures are from the same cigar. Seems to have a bit of fuzz on it, unsure if it's mold?

The third picture is just an odd one. There's some darker marks at the foot of the cigar, and unsure if that could just happen with some of the cheaper cigars or if it's something to be concerned about?

Many thanks and look forward to potential solutions to these problems. The rest look absolutely fine.

    Many thanks!

mold i would say, but it looks like just at the cap end of the cigar so just brush it of and smoke, dont no about the dark wrapper at the foot of cigar could be a d patch or a water mark nothing to worry about i would say

My opinion is that as long as any mold on a cigar is only on the wrapper and there is none on the foot, then there's nothing to worry about (but shouldn't stick around long before it's smoked).

The dark cigar looks like it got wet at some point, could explain the mold with the excess moisture...nothing to worry about if the mold is on the wrapper and not on the foot, just wipe them down, store them in an old cigar box until your ready to smoke them....
