I like this, it makes me smile because I can see in the photograph an enviable stash of sticks, a small cabinet in the corner looking very humidor-like, a couple of bottles of whisky (one nearly all gone), a computer desk, and a 15 litre drum of something. It just needs a roast dinner in there and it would be ideal.
Buy singles, it's my policy.
When ever I have a box there is always so many of them and it's easy to smoke one more.
when you have singles, everyone is the last one and you get far more reluctant to have that last special cigar.

Thanks very much the cabinet is a 7 drawer humidor (P1 jar on top, love it!), the whiskey is always there and always nearly all gone! And the drum is distilled water for humidification, all beads now... The roast dinner however was downstairs

Works for me.
Oddly mine is virtually the opposite, buy boxes I say, I don't think a single can be taken as experience of that cigar, it could be good, bad, young, old, plugged, etc... Smoking through a box over time lets you see how that cigar ages, try another if one is plugged, you get the idea anyway.
And with a box you can have one or two of that special cigar for fun, just because it's friday for instance, and still keep some for special occasions, I'm really not a fan of keeping the good stuff for that perfect time, often doesnt work out, enjoy em while you got em I say
