    It was the Reduced Sodium salt which was the problem.

    Repeated the test twice with regular salt. Yesterday morning and last night. Results are solid.

    Sorry Crusse, I guess you'll be hanging on to those Hamlets!

      Seriously though, it's good to hear that you're now getting the right readings with the salt test as it's the method I always use to test my hygros.
