  • Would you keep them?

Well... i recently purchased a box of cigars and have to say i am not the biggest fan as yet , i have had three so far and although they have their moments i do not thoroughly enjoy them!

I am tempted to sell them and buy some others or maybe i should i keep them in the hope that over time they will improve with age?

Unfortunately one of their characteristics is that the draw is a tadge too tight for my likings and of course maturing them won't affect this (although it may only be tight on the ones i have smoked!)

...and yes they are the recently purchased PC del Punch!

I think i am going to stick with larger gauges as i never seem to have a draw issue with them!

How long is it until there is a noticable taste difference with cigars stored in the humi (on the box it says they were produced in 09)?

Ouch...Punch with draw problems is the norm for me. I've bought boxes of Black Prince, Punch Punch and DC singles and all have been tight draws....I avoid Punch completely for that reason which is frustrating as the flavours are tantalisingly brilliant..grrrrrr

humi is 68, however, i kept the most recent smoke out for a couple of days!

Haven't experienced bad draw on the Punch i've had before, Punch Punch and TresPetit (quite the opposite), i couldn't get the tPetit so bought these thinking they would be similar!

Gonna always try before buying a box in future, don't know why i didn't really!

Some people like a tighter draw so if anyone wants to swap a few I would be more than willing?

I quite like Punch cigars I have had so far and I do like a tighter draw on a cigar.

Unfortunately I don't have Cubans that I could trade and I don't think you have enough posts to sell yet.

I'd put them in the Humi and try one every 6 months or so in your position.

yeah, think i will keep them, i suppose at least they will get aged as i won't smoke them that often and who knows they may turn out to be splendid!

Wardjrz - That being said, I would happily trade a couple for a couple of Non Cubans if you're into it and see how you get on with them? (...if my low post count will allow that is?)

Funkilee - I'll happily trade if we can come to an agreement on a suitable swap once you have enough posts to create a thread in the Trade section.
Forum rules are Forum rules and I don't want to break them. You're not far away from the minimum post limit so we won't have to wait long.
