When you get a Monte 2 that's on.......you'll do well to find any other cigar to beat it.

Unfortunately, the last time they were really on was 2004.

Recent production are excellent, i have smoked quite a few from last year and trust me they are tough to beat imo....

The Funks is absolutely right..when they're on they are fabulous...fortunately my 'newest' are '05, quite a lot after this & some previous have been inconsistent...be patient with them.

Hate quoting myself, but I stand by this, all the really good Monte 2's were pre '05 so far...I have had some damn good smokes from all of the latter years but IMHO they don't come up to the earlier boxes...but I won't 100% know until the newer boxes have an equivalent age on them. As I said be patient with them..

The downside of course is that you're hoping that one of today's apprentices might someday become as good as Bobby Charlton.
