  • What cigars have you smoked the most of?

Unlike your fav cigars, which you might not be able to afford regularly or can't get hold off easily/are discontinued; toting up what cigars you have actually smoked most of is interesting too. Here's my top ten:

1st Monte No4: These were my first regular Havanas & I smoked these for 3-4yrs, with some Hoyo's & Cohibas on special occasions.
2nd ERDM DT: This is probably because you can fit a DT in, when you couldn't manage a bigger, longer smoke.
3rd: R&J Julietas: My very first box of Cuban cigars & these were my short smoke until I discovered the superior ERDM DT's.
4th: Hoyo Epi No2: A fine staple of my humi, always have a cab on the go & one aging.
5th: RG Panatela X: The most ecomonical, decent Cuban smoke?
6th: Cohiba Esplendidos, before Lt Ed & RE, this was my smoke for major celibrations, birthdays, anniversaries & big fish.
7th: More or less tied with ERDM CS, RASS & RASCC

So what have you smoked most of over the yrs?
Simon Bolivar: Liberator of Bolivia, Ecuador, Peru & Venezuela.

It must be beween D4, RASS and Boli Royal Corona for me.

However I've not been so mad on the D4s in the last few years.... They seem to have gone off the boil.

For sheer volume i think it must fall between PLPC's, Reyes and Dip 4's.

        I'm not 100% sure but I reckon it goes something like this for me;

Short smokes: Party Shorts, Reyes, Boli PC's, RASCC, ERdM Demi Tasse

Medium smokes: Monte Petit Edmundos, RASS, Boli RC, PSD4

And I usually save my larger smokes for when I have the time, which isn't all that often.

Trini Reyes. Never had a bad one, get better with age, perfect length for today so I never feel bad because i have to leave 2 inches.

Note to self, must put some boxes away to age like the Mexicant.

HdM Epicure #2 - smoked so many when I first found cigars that they do nothing for me now
D4 - Again, I think they've gone off the boil too over the last few years
                      P2 - Still great
                      Monte 2 - See P2

Very interesting read guys, quite a few similarities there, our core smokes are not so different.

Smokey Dave, I am not keen on SLR but everyone one of your other smokes are grande A1 with me.
Deano, I totally agree you can over do a single vitola & then go off them, one of the reasons I keep a large selection & rarely smoke the same brand in a month, the same vitola more than 3 or 4 x pa. And of course nothing stays the same, lines discontinued & some aren't what they used to be.
                        Keep them coming!

                            interesting thread, simon......

small: cohiba secretos, trini reyes, party short, boli CJ, cuaba traditionales, boli tubos 2, monte petite tubos, ryj no.2
medium: h upmann connie 1, PSD4, ryj short churchill, boli RC, JL2, SLR serie A
large: h upmann mag 50, ryj churchill, party lusi, cuaba salamones

this list doesn't necessarily represent my favourite cigars....... those i can seldom afford, lol!!! most of the above i've bought more than one box of, in the case of the 10 count boxes (such as cohiba secretos) i've bought 6 or 7 of now!!!

There are very few cigars of which I've smoked more than 50. D4s, 898V, RASS are some.
Probably my most frequent are shop rolled panetelas I get in the Habana Libre hotel. I smoke 3 or 4 every day I'm in Cuba. Great morning cigar, before lunch, out for a stroll etc.
