Hi guys, has anyone tried either the Chinchalero Novillo's or the Chinchalero Novillo Fuerte Maduro's? Ive been offered a box of each at very reasonable price and wondered if they were any cop. Any advice welcome fellas

I've had the Fuerte Maduros and thought they weren't too bad for the price. They're nowhere near as complex as Cubans but I used to think of them an ok smoke for when you're mowing the lawn, walking the dog, etc. But I went off them after having a few that tasted of petrol (yes, petrol! ) I haven't touched them since.

It was definitely a shock! I'd had some ok ones before that and thought that it was a one off so I smoked another a few days later......and that tasted of petrol too! Then I stopped buying them.

                Reasonable enough to box split?

                60 X 4 sounds like Nub size.

I've had a couple of the maduro and quite liked them. Certainly liked them enough buy another box today.

They are quite a mouthful though, almost jaw achingly so but for that they cost are very pleasant.

I'm afraid I can't offer anything from experience but certainly the consensus of the reviews I've seen seems to be that they're a very passable, anytime "cheap & cheerful"
