  • Happiness is a C.Gar

Tried a play on words with the title from the old hamlet adverts. Apologies for the terrible attempt.

Just placed my first order from C.Gars the other day. They came this morning. Very impressed with the company. Very quick and even threw in a couple of sweets and some matches. Very well packaged. Didnt spend much but got some different non cubans to try out. Heres how the humi is looking at the moment

I've got a great cigar collection - it's actually not a collection, because that would imply I wasn't going to smoke every last one of 'em.

If you're heading to Cardiff you could pop into the bear shop to have a look at their selection. Great bacon buttie 2 doors down as well!

I live in Colwyn Bay. There are lots of good places for a cigar in North Wales (my local pub being one of them), but there are no cigar shops worth mentioning.

There is one in Colwyn Bay, but they concentrate much more on pipe's, so have a decent selection of pipe tobacco's, and only a few cigars, not really worth going out of your way for.

If you go out to Angelsey at any point, The White Eagle at Rhoscolyn does decent food - service is a little variable and they don't allow smoking on their terrace, which is a shame, but the food and view are very good (the fudge you get with the coffee is worth putting up with not being able to smoke a cigar).

Nice haul there but as the oft quoted saying goes, pretty soon your "gonna need a bigger boat"

Pretty good start into the cigar world. Nice humi too. I don't recognize the ones on the far left, but in my opinion the La Ricas are the only decent ones there, but don't worry, we all started off with the cheapies until our tastes begin to develop. I still buy the La Ricas (especially the robustos). Incidentally, the La Rica Tubitos (like you have there) was the first cigar i ever smoked.

By the way chaps, you owe to check C.Gars auctions. There are always some amazing aged Cubans.
