Nice work, they look good, and if they taste and smell good on the burn brilliant.

When were were in Cuba there were rollers in shops using molds. But I didn't buy any straight off of the bench so can't speak too authoritatively.

Chris these are excellent. They are better looking than the El Credito's I got in Cuba.
            Can't wait for a comp......

Are you going to go the whole hog and get some labels?

Really impressed for your first run, you should do a vid of your next rolling session!

How much do you reckon you spent so far? And how many cigars do you think you will get?

Sent from my mind with the help of HTC
I guess everything, mould, tobacco etc...around 120 pounds, but I got a pretty mental amount of tobacco. I should be able to roll 100-200 cigars I think. But I think as I roll more I should be able to estimate better. I just rolled another 12, I'm getting better at the wrapper, I've found it should be quite moist to work with nicely Still the hardest part is bundling evenly and capping. I guess thats why they say practice makes perfect! Are you thinking of doing it yourself?

There is a video youtube where the guy lays it all out the rolls it like a swiss roll then adds the wrapper. He said it makes the consistancy much easier.

I may have seen that video, cheers The problem is the leaves aren't square so it means that the majority of the tobacco is in the middle where the fattest part of the leaf is. The leaves are quite big, maybe twice the length of the width of the cigar mould, so I rip off each end of the bundle and add it to the places where more tobacco is needed. I think it will just take some practice, and anyway, I'm probably just splitting hairs as the end product is not too bad

Very nice Chris! You should make a massive batch, store and forget for a couple of years to see how they smoke.

Haha yeah I'm seriously considering the labels, I must look into where I can get them made. I think the avatar picture would be pretty cool, we'll see I'd want to do it on glossy paper like normal ones so I'll have a look around!
