Am new to the forum but a long time smoker of Cubans - mostly Montecristo No.2 or Edmundos.
However, I seem to end up with far too many smokes that do not burn evenly down to the band. There's always one side of the cigar that burns faster than the other which doesn't make for the most satisfying smoke. I'm often having to get the matches out to try and even up the burn or using spit to try and slow down the fast burning side (not the most elegant of solutions!).
Am I doing something fundamentally wrong or is this the typical experience of forum members?
Any tips and tricks to get that even burn...?
