Letting someone toke off your cigar is personal preference. Some don't mind it, others do. But I can say...I've never heard anyone say the phrase, "Yea, I caught something (a cold, hep b or c, etc...) from smoking [insert name]'s cigar."

Now, I wouldn't let anyone have a puff on my cigar. But why would you ask in the first place?

I often like the smell of peoples dinner at a restaurant, but I don't go to their table and ask for a bite!

We've had a great laugh with the girl in that picture over the years. Last time we finished at 5am with a duet of Chris de Burgh's 'Lady in red'. I believe that's on video somewhere.
The second time we met her, a few years ago, she remembered us as 'of course I remember you, you're the Irish guys who don't go with Cuban women'.

Mine usually stays pretty dry, sometimes a little wet, but i definitely wouldn't consider myself a wetter of a chewer really.

I have to say though, Im not sure I would have given my cigar over to any ol chap to have a smoke on.

I like to keep it as dry as possible unless I'm driving then it in my mouth more than usual so gets moist ( I'm still talking about the cigar!) As for giving a random person a toak? not sure I could do that, mates well that' s a different thing
