  • Hoyo De Monterrey Epicure Especial

Several years ago I tried this cigar thanks to a trade with CohibaIV, and I had not had it again until last month. Now I can't get enough of them. Hoyo Epicure Especials have become my new "go-to" cigar - for the moment. The burn on these has been a lot better than the Montecristo Open Masters I have been smoking; and I have to say, aside from the nice taste of vanilla that seems to be consistent throughout all of them, the Masters are a bit disappointing.

But, like all of my favorites, I expect this to last for several months and I will probably turn find a new favorite. We'll just have to wait and see. (I'm always open to suggestions too)

Haha, they were on special. I got so many of 'em I figured I'd suffer through the lot while I saved up for something in the meantime. Stupid Monte Opens....

This is one of those cigars that I always mean to try but whenever I make an order it ends up getting bumped for something else. Some people seem to love them though so I'll have to try and get my hands on one.

I'm going to add a 10 count box onto my next order and it's between The Epicure Especial,Petit Edmundo and The Short Churchills. Can't seem to come to a definitive just yet!

Tough choice, i could narrow it down to 2 out of 3 which would be the petit edmundo and short churchill for me...

Eh, it's getting nice out. No need for a cigar that's "petit" if you dig the hole I'm shittin' in. Better go with the Hoyos; bigger is better.

I really like the Hoyo Epi Esp! The first box that I bought, still have a couple left... Dead handy in the 10 count box, just the sort of thing to bulk up an order!

Thing is, if I was buying a 10ct box of a larger stick I'd probably go with the Mag50.

I've only had one Mag50 but think the Epi Esp is the better stick...

Sparked up an Epi Especial last night and it was fantastic.
                              Highly recommended IMHO.
