A strange one to end the night.
Let me start by saying a couple of things. Firstly, I don't smoke Cannabis and I don't use any unprescribed drugs or medication of any kind. I never have and never will. I'm not against the use of drugs or anything, its just a personal choice...I have enough vices, I can happily live without another. Also, no law was broken with regards to the story I am about to recall. Here in California, Cannabis is legal to smoke with a medical card that states you are able to. My friend has a medical card for the procurement of Cannabis, so therefore, no legal turpitude has been committed.
So anyway,
Earlier this week I got together with a friend to have a smoke and try and get the week off to a good start. After a while the conversation got along to this topic. He now only ever smokes a cigar after he has smoked cannabis first. Before, he would just smoke cigars and enjoy them as we all do, but apparently, since he has started smoking cannabis also, according to him, his enjoyment has tripled. So I questioned him further as to the reasons why, which mainly seem to revolve around the extra comfort state he is in when smoking now.
Now....well...I don't know. Firstly, I can't stand the smell of cannabis, so for me I can't imagine smoking a beautifully crafted cigar after something so vile. It would be like trying to clear my throat with water, but instead of reaching for the good stuff, grabbing a glass of swimming pool water with extra chlorine. However, I do kind of get where he is coming from. For me, smoking is certainly around 70% mental state over everything else. I don't smoke everyday, I only smoke when I know I can enjoy thoroughly, which comes from how relaxed I am ultimately. It makes me wonder what kind of extra enjoyment he is getting from this extra level of comfort. I'm not that curious as to go and try some, but I am curious enough to look at other methods...who's up for some pre smoke yoga?
So I guess, if anything else, it was just some food for thought before I headed to bed that I wanted to share!
