As we all know the weather in England at the best of times is a joke of a joke but in winter it gets soo much worse.

Its at this time of year i like to set up my smoking den its just a fishing bivvie with a few chairs a tables a few bottles of booze and a small heater but its nice and not full of spiders unlike my shed "shudders" but even with all this its not as convenient as smoking in the house so i normally stick to small panatella - petite corona sized smokes unless i invite friends over and we hook up the tv to watch the racing.

Now heres my problem ive got plenty of petite coronas to smoke mostly coming from my box of bolivars and punch but almost no good panatellas ive been sticking to the ERDM Demi Tasse as its a nice well constructed flavourful smoke and ive never had a problem with them being tight/plugged unlike the Punch Margaritas ive tried almost a box of 25 of them by now and everyone has been bad either tight or plugged or it just tasted like sawdust.

So im going to ask you lot what panatellas you would recommend i dont mind if its cuban or not though NCs are somewhat hard to find in England at a decent price.

Never had a problem with my Punch Margos, always been well constructed, flavourful and deceptively strong for a little 'un. But if a change is a must .... RA Ramonitas are reliable and still available from a few UK vendors www.mysmokingshop.co.uk and the Cohiba Panatelas is great though pricey, try not to smoke them straight from a 69-75? PH humi though, instead dry-box for a day or so.

Thanks for the link tippexx those RAs look very reasonably priced though im guessing by your comment they where discontinued which would be a shame as i find there is almost no panatella sizes left.

'fraid so, discontinued but then so are the Margos. There has been no 2011 release of PL Panatelas (excellent smokes). Long panatelas are HTF .... but not impossible. CGars are possibly stocking Qd'O, so who knows Panatelas maybe (discontinued) .... though for something smaller and a little different try Gauntleys, they still have some Bolivar Demi Tasse.

Quintero Panatela's are pleasant in my opinion, not a Panatela but still a shorter smoke is the Tatuaje petit Cazadore's Reserva, tried them at the Prince and wish i had bought some

I'd recommend Rafel Gonzales Panatela Extras, very good price & an excellent smoke with a few yrs on them.
