Converting wine cooler

Hi all
I have one question about the temperature of a wine cooler. Since I'm going back to my country and it's pretty hot there, sometimes could reach to 31C degree, so a wine cooler might be my best options. However when i did a little search most of the wine cooler temperature range is between 14-18C degree, just wonder if it is too cold for the cigars, as I read somewhere if the temperature get too low the humidity will not be effective?

18C is fine, on my wine cooler that is the maximum setting you can go, just make sure it is a thermoelectric type to avoid moisture buildup inside.
