I hold mine in most of the ways above & have noticed that I can change style several times throughout a smoke. Sometimes it depends on the size & shape fo the stix but as it gets smaller, a different hold maybe taken. Just about the only methord I don't use is the 4 fingers on top & thumb underneath, as recommended by Davidoff, I seem to recall from his book.
