    I use a slight roll when testing my cigars, and have never damaged a single one, not even dry ones. I think people squeeze them too hard.

      Yeah, that is worth bearing in mind Simon, thanks. Got the humidity up to just under 60% and things seem a lot better. Phew!

      I don't think I'd ever really listened to my cigars under a little pressure so when I heard them crackle a little I assumed the worst.

        Glad everything started to get worked back out Styler! I can imagine the panic you must have felt. As said however, Cigars are a lot more robust than we seem to think sometimes....Thankfully!

        At least you caught it with enough time to do something about it!
