Without a job, it definitely sounds like having a household finance manager that isnt yourself is probably the best idea if youre wanting to spend 50 on cigars. Cigars are a great passion, but they, along with all other hobbies and passions should only be enjoyed when you can afford to enjoy them!

Hopefully your situation changes soon, and you can enjoy spending your disposable income on plenty of cigars!

My understanding is that non uk supplier discussion is ok if its about going and collecting. Ie trips to Gib, Cuba, Geneva etc. as this is allowed under UK law on personal imports.

Its tax evasion discussions that isn't ok. This also covers mail order from the EU as personal tobacco imports via mail order isn't allowed under EU law. If you want German cigars then easy jet /ryan air is the way forward as you can bring them back from your holidays.


If any of the above is wrong please correct me.

I totally agree. But as always when you see a chance of some cheap smokes it's hard to stop oneself. I have a few days work over the next few weeks so hopefully I'll be able to purchase a few singles ready for crimbo

That is ALWAYS the problem with this hobby. There is always something bigger, better, newer, older. Im sure weve all had moments where we have had to refrain from spending an entire pay packet on smokes, or had to hide to odd receipt from the other half haha!

Nothing wrong with treating yourself a little for xmas!
