  • What's your favourite birthday cigar?

I'm coming upto my 20th birthday in about two weeks, and I'm not overly sure
what a good but relatively cheap cigar is to enjoy on the day - Any favorites for occasions?

The Partagas D4 is probably your best bet.

Its a great cigar that wont hurt the pocket

Many years ago I discovered Hennessy XO cognac and Romeo y Julieta Churchills on the same birthday and they have been my celebratory combo ever since.

Not even close to "relatively cheap" though.

Good shout but a very strong cigar!

Personally I would go for a H Upmann Connoisseur No. 1, very nice!

It would have to be my absolute favourite, a Cohiba Corona Especiale, preferably with a bit of age.

Punch Punch is highly regarded and only medium strength I think.

I think that as it is your birthday, you shouldn't worry too much about the price.

I would also go BIG or at least very long .................. Push the boat out my friend!

Be tempted by some of the classics, or at least a stick that feels 'special', if for no other reason than the brand and reputation -

                Monte no 2
                R&J Churchill
                RA Gigantes
HDM Double Corona or maybe an Epi No1 for a cheaper /lighter smoke
Cohiba Siglo VI or maybe the Lancero

The choices are many, have fun.

Can't stress the Upmann Connie enough, also read my latest review of the Mag 46 http://www.ukcigarforums.com/showthr...-Magnum-46-O.o - might swindle you!
