  • Is it possible to smoke a cigar too slowly?

I just finished an Oliva Belicoso which I smoked slower than I usually would and found there to be little smoke and not too much flavour. I had read that smoking too fast overheats the cigar and releases unpleasant tastes. My question is, can you smoke it so slowly that it doesn't get hot enough to release the tastes that you do want?

    Thanks

    Thin to win!

I don't think so. If you smoke "too slowly," the stick will go out. Sounds like you may have experienced other issues, such as an over-packed stogie!

Now, before you got to beddy bye, how about going over to the knewbee greetings forum and introduce yourself to the fine folks of the fine forum.

    Cheers!

A cuban cigar, I'd say yes, it's possible in some case (a poorly constructed large RG cigar for instance); a non cuban, I don't think so.

        Thanks for the responses.
I didn't have any problems with it going out in fact the burn was very good but the draw was extremely tight, I guess it was just a bad stick,
