  • Post-wedding cigar advice

Hi allI am looking for a post-wedding cigar for next year. I know next to nothing about cigars and I am looking for good, honest advice. Do I need to buy one now and age it? (I don't own a humidor) What brand should I be looking at? Any help will be greatly appreciated, thanks.

Hi and congrats for next year! Soo many choices but also so many questions my friend
    Have you smoked before?
How long do you want it to take you to smoke the special one?
Do you have a sweet tooth or prefer savory flavours in general?
What do you drink? I.e would you be a wine/ beer man or are you likely to be having a malt/ rum/ gin etc whilst smoking
Are you looking for a big fat stogie for effect or something to just have on your own for 40 mins of quiet personal reflection/ celebration/ relaxation?
Is this a one off or do you want to become regular?
    Andy

Looking for Monte Sublimes if you have any?

ok, lets forget about the cigar for a moment. Let's talk about this wedding thing. Are you sure you're doing the right thing? How long have you been together? What's her mother like? Do you really feel like settling down yet? How big are her feet? Lets not rush into anything here!

HiI don't generally smoke cigars and I quit smoking cigarettes 2 years ago so I dont want something that will put a want on me for cigs again. I don't mind how long it takes to smoke it. 40-45 minutes seems fine. I would more than likely be drinking whisky or wine with it. It's just a one-off but I might wanna have it with buddies so I won't be alone.

            +1

            Congrats on popping the question!

I think Cohiba Behikes are a hell of a shout, very expensive though. Perhaps you could tell us the "budget" for the cigars?

            All the best,

            Frederick.

If I was buying 3 or 4, I wouldn't mind spending ?40-?50 on each one.
