    Hello Guys!

My family and I have a cottage for the weekend on the shore in Mid-Wales over bonfire weekend and I want a substantial Cuban smoke to take with me for one of the evenings there. I'm willing to brave the cold as just like my own house, this cottage is a non-smoking zone. I love a Siglo VI and so far that's at the top of the list of possibilities. I am also quite intrigued by the La Gloria Cubana Gloriosos but have yet to try one. you get the picture of the size I'm after, does anyone have any experience with the Gloriosos or any suggestions for another good sized smoke that would be ideal as a holiday treat?

Hmm, I think I'd rather have a Siglo VI on the golf course to be honest! I'd love to have a Bolivar RC or a Partagas SDN4 if I was relaxing on a warm beach with a beer. For a weekend away in Wales, well I'm Welsh but over a camp fire I think my perfect cigar would be a Montecristo #2

Ah the number 2! what a fantastic idea! I've been wanting to try one of those bad boys for a while! and it's a good sized smoke too! but is it really special enough to be a 'take on holiday' cigar?

      Thanks Mate!

        Think bigger!
Odd coincidence, I've got a cottage booked in mid Wales next month too, so have been considering the same question.
(As luck would have it, the place I'm staying at has an outside 'hot-tub'... so at least I'll be able to keep warm while I 'honk' a few off!).

        How about:
A Partagas Lusitania.. A Monte Sublime.. An SLR DC.. etc, etc.

Anyhow, have fun.. and remember... stay safe... never go back to unexploded firework!

            You're welcome.

Personally, for over the camp fire I wouldn't turn down the Monte #2 but in the back of my mind I'd be thinking "SDN4" :/

I'm sure some of the more experienced members on here will be able to contribute far better than I can, I'm still a newbie I suppose but my choices for a camp fire are #2 and the SDN4!

Muchacho, what ever puro you select, pick the most well-aged stick you can get. For me, it would be a Cohiba Siglo IV, 5 years or older. A genuine Cohiba Sublime EL 2004 wouldn't be a bad choice, either.
